We are celebrating our centennial. We are planning on July 9th - 11th. Fri. July 9th will be a open house at our brand new station. Sat July 10th we are doing a parade at 10am Followed by show and shine at Florence park. Water fights, leaderline and bucket brigade will be at the park at noon. A hog roast will be at the station at 6pm with a street dance to follow 8 to 11. performing will be BB an d the Bullfrogs, The Sen Men and Generations of Rock and Roll. Sun the 11th of July will be a Golf Tourny at Woodlyn Hills Golf Course. All apparatus both public and private

are welcome to attend the parade and show. We are expecting a steamer from Harlan IA.

Presented by the Genesee Valley Antique Fire Apparatus Association, the Rochester Fire Department & the Monroe County Fire Bureau An Antique Muster and Firefighter Appreciation Day “Celebrating Firefighting, Past & Present” Two Days of Events Emphasizing Fire Education and Safety and The Understanding and Appreciation of the History of Firefighting Each Day - Activities will include: family fire safety and accident prevention demonstrations, a Hall of History depicting early firefighting with antique apparatus, modern and antique motorized apparatus, firemen’s band concerts and several children’s fun activities. Saturday - Opening ceremonies and flag raising, an 1800’s firefighting re-enactment and a auto crash & rescue simulation. Sunday - Firefighter & Explorer competitions, and a rescue boat parade on the Genesee River Come One and All, Bring the Family, Bring a Friend. Free Admission and Free Parking Smoke.
