8 fire trucks for sale. They are in original condition except for the 1923 American LaFrance, that was mostly restored 30 years ago, but now needs some work again. The trucks have always been stored inside but have not moved or been run in 25- 30 years. They are located in Wisconsin. It is a deceased relative's collection and I have limited knowledge of the equipment, but will answer what I can. I do have titles for all the trucks. All trucks but 2 have open cabs and I believe all the trucks have gasoline engines. We also have many older brass and copper fire extingishers as well as helmets, nozzles, fittings, etc. please call or email me with questions. Can send some pictures on request.

1929 Ford Model A This Model A fire truck underwent a complete restoration about 8 years ago and has only been driven on rare occasions since. The quality and level of detail on this truck is second to none. This was Banff, Alberta's first motorized fire apparatus. Asking 34,000.00 (negotiable). 1919 American LaFrance Model 12 This was originally delivered to the Marshall Texas Fire Department on April 23, 1919. Since then, the fire apparatus has had a complete ground up restoration. The paint is in fine shape including intricate hand painted stripping and gold leaf. The engine is a 105 hp in-line six cylinder T-head coupled to a 3 speed sliding gear manual transmission. This truck is equipped with 2 portable fire extinguishers, 2 Dietz lanterns, 2 10' hoses, wooden extension ladder, pike pole, fire axe, search light, hand operated siren and chrome bell. Everything is mechanically functional, however as it has been exhibited indoors, it has not been driven for some time. Meticulous attention was used to keep this truck's appearance as close as possible to when it was originally delivered and is very apparent. It will be difficult to find another truck with the quality and level of detail that went into it's restoration process. Don't miss the opportunity to add this very rare historic fire apparatus to your collection. Asking 49,500.00. Contact me at 403-990-9780 or email (1-16-15 - - 15-02)

1964 Mack C85F serial 1298. Details can be found at hookerhosecompany on facebook including photos and mechanical history. This rig was originally ordered by North Haledon, NJ fire department and when retired in the 80's was purchased and moved to North Dade, GA fire department. It was retired in 2008 and as a member, I bought it from them. It was running rough, losing power under acceleration or on grades, backfiring, burning oil ... I have been unable to find a local mechanic to test the theory that it is related to the carb/fuel line/ fuel pump, and have put in almost $4000 in work and diagnostics. A bumper to bumper tune up by Mack of Chattanooga did not resolve the issue. They referred me to nearby SE Diesel who did a compression test finding loss of pressure in the #6 cylinder (I have copies of both work orders and results). I no longer have the cash available to authorize the repair which they say could be from two to four thousand dollars depending on the extent of the damage. Replacement parts are not available commercially and will have to be custom machined. There was also difficulty finding a head gasket set to put the engine back together again if they did tear it down. Truck was running ok for the next 2 years being idled every weekend when it inexplicably failed to start this past spring. I don't know if again, it may be related to fuel or even rodents getting at the wiring. (has two new batteries). This is a 5 speed manual with air brakes. It is the Mack gasoline powered Thermodyne 707 engine, 6 cylinder with 27,500 miles. Body is in good shape with minimal rust, one dented compartment door and faded paint. Weathering has pitted the chrome hand rails and gear rack. All equipment is included, hoses, nozzles, hard sleeves, vintage SCBA, ladder, axes, adapters. extinguishers etc. The original bell remained in North Haledon and I purchased a replacement for $1000. The original hand reels were removed and re-purposed at North Dade FD though I did purchase one back for $300 (it is not piped in). Am asking $3000 firm, as-is. It will need to be towed (zip code 30757). The booster reel and bell additional as noted above. A mechanic can inspect it at my Hooker, GA property and I can be contacted via email or via the facebook page. Bruce Brandon (1-16-15 - - 15-01)

Truck starts first try and runs every time. I have six trucks and can only garage five, so am selling truck. $1,800 or best reasonable offer. I have a 1958 ALF 900 series pumper that I am trying to sell and save from the crusher. It starts and runs. I drove home to Eddington, ME from VT a few years ago. It was running and driving with an antique ME plate/registration a couple of years ago. It has a new alternator and recent gas line work as well. It has a continental V-8 gas dual ignition motor and 4 speed manual transmission. Currently the brakes are not working. The paint is faded and it has a little rust in the back officer's side compartment and along the driver's side fender. Both are still very repairable. The frame is very solid and the motor runs strong. It has a 750gpm pump that works but has not been flow tested. It has the original sireno mechanical siren and gumdrop rotator. It has the old GE two-way radio in it. I have the original owner's manual and parts book that goes with it. It came from the Alexandria Bay FD in NY state and I believe was made at the ALF factory in Elmira, NY. Some of the chrome has peeled off the headlights, but everything is still there. It is a cool old truck with tons of potential, but I do not have time or space for it. I am very open to offers and will work with any potential buyer to find it a good home. Pictures and a description can be found searching on craigslist in Maine under the heading "1958 American La France-Eddington". Asking $2700. The pump is a 500 GPM Barton run by direct drive off of the Ford flathead V-8 engine. Overhead rack holds the suction hose, new fuel tank. This was restored several years ago and is in excellent shape. Need to make some room, but this is a unique piece and priced accordingly. This 1938 Mack City Service Ladder Truck was originally purchased by and served the South Plainfield Fire Co. in New Jersey from 1938 until approximately 1970. I purchased the truck in 1986 and did a full frame up restoration completed in 1991. This Mack City Service Ladder Truck was built as a quad with pump and tank. The truck is fully equipped as per truck manufactures build records and factory photographs that are included in the sale of the truck. All of the lettering and striping are true gold leaf not tape or decals. All of the firefighting equipment on the truck is correct to time period and truck manufacturer. The truck is drivable and show ready. The generator on the running board is for display only and does not run. I can be reached at (856) 362-3313 or e-mail (8-8-14 - - 14-47)

For Sale - 1935 Ford-Buffalo Pumper - 500 GPM Hale centrifugal pump. Very complete truck with ladder, siren, ax, spotlights, extinguishers, lots of nozzles and hose, original Buffalo suction hoses, and much more. 85HP V-8 engine was completely professionally rebuilt and has barely been driven since rebuild. Truck is a great driver with plenty of power. Fire pump works but it's been a while since I've run it. This truck served Meredith NH Fire Department as Engine 2 from 1935 to sometime in the sixties. My father bought it from the dept in 1969 and had it painted at that time. Odometer reads 5,155, which I believe to be about right. To be nice, the truck could use a paint job, but it's more than presentable in its current condition. Needs new rear tires and has some other fairly minor issues that should be addressed. Vehicle is roughly 21 feet in length and fits in a typical home garage bay. Truck is located in New Hampshire. $22,000 OBO. Call Mike Dodge at 239-784-1863 (7-3-14 - - 14-41)

For sale is a beautifully restored from the frame up (in the 80's) 1928 Maxim Fire Truck (Pumper). This truck was Holliston, Massachusetts first motorized fire truck and comes with many of the original documents of purchase by the town and documentation on the truck itself. Lots of old photos and history included. This truck takes home a trophy at almost any show it is displayed at and I have dozens of them for you to proudly display. Truck is in excellent condition and runs and pumps like a champ. Sirens, lights and gauges all work. Truck was restored to original working condition all the way to the "real" gold lace pin-striping.
