I am having to sell my “baby” after owning it 23 years. I am retired Kern County Fire Dept. It is all original, including the motor [a flat head Lycoming 6 cylinder], ladders, axes, aooga horn, siren, gages, and fire extinguishers. I did cut down the original water tank to put in 2 bench seats that allow you to carry a “crowd” of people in the truck. I am asking $47,500 but will consider all reasonable offers. 1950 Maxim Fire Engine
1950 Maxim Fire Engine last saw service in Yarmouth, MA in 1993. Under 18,000 actual miles. I am the third owner with Yarmouth FD being the first. Vehicle is in NW Indiana.
Will sell with all documentation since my purchase in 2012. Will also provide all spare parts I have. I have not run the pump so I do not know the status of same. Some of the work completed: New brakes, all new tires, new starter, new magneto and spark plug wires, new fuel pump, fuel tank has been cleaned and sealed and the outside painted with Rustoleum, new clutch, new cab spot lights, new turn signals, rewired much of the under dash with new wiring for spotlights, red lights and siren, added electric horns and battery switch. Electrical system is 12 volt positive ground. Most dash switches are new. Drive engine is a Hercules straight 6.
Equipment included: Hand crank for engine, fire axe, roof ladder, extension ladder, 20# antique fire extinguisher, 10# brand new extinguisher for safety requirements, full hose load of 2 ½. With hydrant wrench, pry bar, hard suction (2), suction strainer, 2 ½ inch combination nozzle, heavy duty aluminum wheel chocks, 5 gallon safety gasoline can.
Parts include 2 Federal beacons for back of engine, terminal strips for rear compartments, 3 point seat belt for driver’s seat, tire black for tire dressing, spools of automotive wire and miscellaneous connectors.

1980 International Pierce for sale. DT 466 diesel motor with automatic transmission. Air brakes, Power steering, center mounted pump panel. All lights work as they should. Hose bed is metal and there is a rear mounted booster hose. Seats three in the cab and four in back. No rust. Only thing missing on the truck is the headliner in the cab. Built for Olyphant, PA. Was white over blue and sold to East Cameron Township. Has a Mack 707c gas motor and runs great. Just repainted interior back to red and had seats redone. Cab is being prepped for paint and that is why parts are not in photo. No title at this time but am trying to obtain it.
