Duo Safety Wooden Roof Ladder (8-18-16)

These wooden ladders have become increasingly hard to come by as Departments across the country transitioned to light weight aluminum. As
the wooden ladders were decommissioned, most had been destroyed. This particulat ladder is a 14 foot wooden roof ladder, which has 2 hooks at
the top that can be rotated out so the ladder can be placed over the peak of a roof to provide firefighters a safer way to work on a steep roof.
This ladder was manufactured by Duo Safety Ladder Company of Oshkosh Wis. The ladder is only being sold as a decoration piece of memorabilia.
The ladders overall condition is excellent in excellent unrestored condition, with very unique character. The ladder has a burn to the rail, that is charred approx 3/8 of the overall thickness at its deepest point. Displays a humbling vision of the dangers firefighters face. The ladder hooks work as they should, the varnish has come off in many parts with other minor signs of wear. Ladder is straight, no signs of warping, all rungs are tight.

Early American La France Body and Pump and equipment (8-18-16)

I have an ALF rear body with tank and a mid mount pump for sale. They came from a local Fire Company located near Allentown Pa. They are currently mounted on a 1932 Ford but I do not believe they are original to this truck. I would like to sell the body, pump and the hoses that are on it. The body has the built in tank and it appears to be in very good shape. It still has all of it’s original pin striping as well as suction hoses, real with hose and a lenth of feed hose. The pump likewise looks to be in good shape. It comes with the rear fenders with the ALF step plates on top, the rear running board (needs some work) and the front mount  compartment tray with gauges still intact. I would like to sell all as a unit but will separate if I needed.  1,200.00 OBO. Cab and chassis is not part of this deal. Mark  484-651-0980 or email  Douglassville PA

Need Lower Hood Sections & Battery Compartment Doors and Chrome For 1956 Seagrave 85 Foot Tillered Aerial (6-1-16)

We are currently restoring a Los Angeles Fire Department 1956 Seagrave 85 Foot Tillered Aerial and are in need of the following;
Left and right lower hood sections and bottom filler plates ( see photos). They were removed ( and scrapped) to help keep the 935 Hall Scott running cooler with out having to lift the hood.
Battery box door ( see photos)
Working speedometer and tach ( will either exchange ours for working units or pay to restore ours)
One tiller window hinge ( see photos)
Could also use a new window frame.
Pair of Amber fog lights that match mounting holes in front bumper top. ( see photo) We think they were made by Pioneer.
We are lucky to have the LAFD Historical Socity working with us to get some of the running board equipment but we will need more than what they have to complete this project.
My contact information is below and my cell phone is 213-364-3473. The project is located , as am I , in Los Angeles and we have lots more photos if needed.
